Flash is a powerful web technology that achieves a high level of visual impact.
It offers a combination of great visual effects with image and graphic animations.

Flash can be used to make some fun and amazing projects, however, Flash is not appropriate for all types of websites. To be honest we don’t often recommend Flash for most websites anymore.  As with any business decision, it all comes down to what your target audience wants. If the primary purpose of the web site is to offer artistic or visual effects to the visitors, with visitors coming to the web site on some reference other than search engines, then Flash could be recommended.

If you are creating a website with the intention of increasing traffic and getting more customers via search engines, then Flash should most likely not be used at all.   Flash is not all that search engine friendly, therefore, a Flash-based web site will probably not rank well in the search engine results.

Flash is ,however, very well suited for other applications such as Training Videos, eCards, AD Banners, & Band websites.  Additionally Flash can be used to create a sales tool in the form of a 2-3 minute informational video that we can even put on YouTube to be viewed across all browsers and apple products without the need of a Flash player.
